6	Voluntary Airport Low Emission (VALE) Primary purpose is to reduce emissions at airport facilities Energy conservation is secondary FAA worked with other federal agencies to create program (EPA and the DOE Clean Cities program) Finances low- emission vehicles, refueling and recharging stations, gate electrification, and other airport air quality improvements
7	VALE Ten airports selected for pilot program, $500,00 per airport Program may be expanded in future
8	ENERGY STAR EPA/DOE program focused on facility energy management Provides technical assistance for lighting, heating and cooling systems, and energy efficient appliances
